Lessons are $40 for a 50 minute private session, and reduced rates are available for groups of 2 or more.   They are tailored to each individual's goals, and disciplines include Western Pleasure/Horsemanship, English Pleasure/Equitation, Showmanship, and Gymkhana.   If you choose to bring your own horse for a lesson please be aware that there must be proof of a current year Coggins and vaccinations.

RTC Indoor Arena

Located in Williamston, Michigan, Russell Training Center is accessible within minutes from Michigan State University and many other communities including East Lansing, Lansing, Okemos, Haslett, Mason, Howell, Brighton, and other "horsey" communities!  We have easy access to major expressways and secondary roads.

Care options range from $285 per month for full board to $185 for 24/7 pasture board, with various options in between.  Daily board is $15 per day. Supplement feeding, paste worming, putting on/removing blankets, daily grooming, and longing are also available for a small additional charge. 

The facilities include solid oak stalls with rubber mats, and 60 X 140 indoor and 100 X 200 outdoor arenas.  We have large green pastures for turnout as well as smaller grassless paddocks. Training for horse and rider is available, and so is parking for your trailer.

Russell Training Center offers special care and flexible options.  We are located just 15 minutes away from Michigan State University's large animal clinic and we are experienced in caring for injured and recuperating horses.  We offer custom tailored care for each individual horse.   Contact us for an appointment to visit the farm and discuss what we can do for you and your horse!

Please Note: Prior to arriving at Russell Training Center your horse must have proof of a current year Coggins, and be up to date on vaccinations and worming.
